The GE Corometrics 170 Series is a fetal monitor that can be used in both medical offices and hospitals. The 170 Series of Fetal Monitors is a lightweight monitor that can effectively and accurately monitor both the mother and baby at the same time. This offers a non-invasive way of tracking the baby’s heart rate. At the same time, the monitor comes with a 9-crystal Pulsed Doppler Ultrasound technology that comes with a wide beam to help clearly detect the fetal heart rate. Along with monitoring TOCO and fetal movement with high and low heart rate alarms. The Corometrics 170 is a monitor for a single baby whereas the Corometrics 172 is used for twins. The GE Corometrics 170 has a larger easy read LED Display screen, that makes it easier to read at a distance.

Models of the 170 Series

  • Model 171 - The Model 171 Antepartum Fetal Monitor provides singleton ultrasound and external uterine activity monitoring.
  • Model 172 - The Model 172 Antepartum Fetal Monitor provides dual ultrasound and external uterine activity monitoring.
  • Model 173 - The Model 173 Intrapartum Monitor provides dual heart rate monitoring using FECG and ultrasound. The monitor also provides external uterine activity monitoring using a toco transducer or internal monitoring using an intrauterine pressure catheter (IUPC).
  • Model 174 - The Model 174 Intrapartum Monitor provides dual heart rate monitoring using FECG/ultrasound or dual ultrasound. The monitor also provides external uterine activity monitoring using a toco transducer or internal monitoring using an IUPC.

The Philips Pagewriter Trim III is a portable, compact EKG. The Trim III is a 12-lead ECG monitoring system that offers advanced technology for reporting, and EKG storage. The Philips Pagewriter is easy-to-use and offers full-page printouts (8.5 x 11) of ECG readings. The 6.5-inch color display screen makes it easy to preview an EKG while also continuously displaying the patient’s heart rate. The system offers a variety of connectivity modes from Modem, CF Card, and LAN options. The Pagewriter Trim III can easily connect to the Philips TraceMasterVue ECG Management system. The ECG system can store up to 150 ECGs in the system’s internal memory and can use the TraceMasterVue system to transfer data for additional storage.

    • Alerts you to fetal heart rate concerns - The fetal heart rate alarm provides both audible and visual alerts if the heart rate is higher or lower than the range you set as normal
    • Helps you place the transducer - Independent volume controls make it easier to locate the transducer for the most effective monitoring
    • Can monitor multiple heart rates - There is an option to monitor twins
    • Displays important information prominently - The large, easy-to-read LCD display clearly presents information about fetal heart rate and uterine activity
    • Offers portability - An optional mobile roll stand cart lets you transport the monitor and all of its necessary accessories
